I recently got an amazon echo and a smart bulb off amazon, it was only cheap at £14 but I don't like how dim the the light is at 100% brightness

Can anyone suggest a decent B22 smart bulb

We've got a couple of Wemo bulbs, they're bright enough. Only warm white and dimming. Hue's are meant to be very good, not run any of those.

It's significantly easier to get Edison screw smart bulbs though. We've started replacing the bayonet fittings with Edison screws. Easy enough to do. Plus found the Ikea Tradfri bulbs are really very good.

I think you need the bridge Aswell for the hues

Yeah replacing the fitting might be an idea

Get the cheap V2 xiaomi bulbs they are pretty decent for around £13, other than that tp link bulbs are inexpensive.

I've been trying a few different b22 smart bulbs lately and I think some overestimate their lumens

Lohas A60 9W - not bad, small and almost as bright as a 60W bulb.
Lombex lux nova 10W - rubbish, the one i received was dimmer than the 9W Lohas above - returned.
Lohas A65 14W - brighter than the above bulbs, but I wouldn't say as bright as a 100W, also larger and heavier than the other bulbs I purchased.
Lifx A60 11W - almost as bright as the Lohas A65. Has a much better app and feels more premium, but also more expensive.
