Has anyone found any decent bargains on this?

I thought there must be something useful on there for me. Good lord, what a load of tat. The sort of stuff you find in the middle aisles of Lidl and Aldi’s. Cheap Chinese junk.

That's a good way of describing it. Their sales normally are full of tat. I may get lucky purchasing or or two things for their black friday sale, but other than that, as you say, complete tat.

They're offering 50% off a Firestick to anyone with a 1st gen device to get us to upgrade.

But usual rule of sales applies: its only a bargain if you wanted it anyway, otherwise you're just letting the retailer offload their unsold stock onto you.

It's supposed to be a jumble sale I think, basically a chance for them to clear some inventory and marketplace to get involved.

The big ones are things like black friday/prime day. I don't see many big brands involved in this and I wasn't approached to participate.

Tempting.. I'm still on LR5 but rarely use it nowadays. Can you buy 2 or 3 of those and then activate them in 1-2 years time, and if I wanted to, revert back easily enough to 5?

Usually people just buy things they don't need and convince themselves it was good deal, because the reality is, you have just wasted whatever you've paid for it.

If you have nothing very specific in mind, then either you will find something to waste money on, or you will not, but you will certainly never find a bargain
