Hi everyone, I’m looking at becoming an amazon flex driver part time. I’ve contacted them and asked a lot of questions. They said I need to insure my car to do the courier work which I knew would be the case - but the cheapest quote I can find would be just over £1,000 a year. Can this insurance be claimed as expenses on my tax return? I’m pretty sure public liability insurance and any indemnity policies can. Does anyone already work as a flex driver and know the answer to this? I’m aware of the pros and cons of this work but the cost of the car insurance is the biggest stumbling block for me! Any help much appreciated! Thank you!
