So I bought an Amazon gift card via Amazon prime... It was out for delivery but then it said undelivered.

So I requested a refund which was successful.

But then it was posted though my letter box a few days later.. I've not tried to activate it as presumably the code will be canceled?

Will I get into trouble if I try to activate it?

Probably be classed as a bit stealy

I imagine it would be linked to your account somehow and likely cancelled.

Yeah I figured the code would be null and void due to the cancellation... It was a birthday present for someone so ill probably just buy another one from tescos or something.

Just wondering if I should try to activate it on my own amazon account, or if it would put some kind of black mark against me on my account.

I've no concern about the moral aspect of the scenario.

Amazon and morals aren't really words ever associated

They may send a drone over to hoist you away to an Amazon black site though.

Also **** Amazon, give it to someone see if it works .

I bought it as a birthday gift for someone else, so it would be imorral to give them a gift card if it's been voided! I was just thinking I could cash it in for myself, bit cheeky, I suppose I could just open it put the code in for my account, bit cheeky, i'd presume they will have voided the code though.

No give it to someone else, in your household or whatever as long as it's not the same Amazon account you used to buy it.

Then they can never trace it back. Don't worry about morals you cant get any lower than Amazon.

good idea! yeah if I dont try to credit the voucher to my own amazon account, then it's plausible deniability. I never got the voucher in the mail.

I'd be supprised if the code isn't cancelled, though?
