Amazon Instant Video - tied to your own home?

I have an Amazon Prime subscription which gives me access to their instant video. My question is, if I go around a friends, can I still access the instant videos or is it tied to your IP address?

I've never told them my IP address and as most people have dynamic addresses from their ISP I can't see how they could enforce that. Trying on a non UK IP address however might not work if your friend is abroad

i'm logged in at work and at home, so afaik it aint tied to any one place.
