Amazon-like email scams

Anyone else get something like this recently? An email scam obviously but using Amazon template (fortunately my email acc blocks it) and slightly similar amazon email.

Nearly all scam emails, use the correct template and even link you to correct template website.

Not had one, but getting people to download and run a file must be ridiculously easy if they are not even properly hiding the email it was sent from.

I've had a couple of these too, which is unusual as I don't usually get much spam.

it's quite amusing to get something like:

attachments: order123.pdf.exe

it's obvious for some, but there are people who'd click and run that and in fact, there's a lot of them out there.

I had to laugh at that, while we can have a laugh at this there are going to be quite a few who will sadly fall for this.

Never had them disguised as Amazon before......until today.

Had one come through at work which was worrying (normally all .exe's get blocked), and the user ran it.

Luckily they actually told us, plenty of others wouldn't of realised and just carried on their merry way for weeks until problems arose.

My email account blocks spam messages getting through to my inbox, why doesn't VB have a similar feature so I don't have to see other people's spam emails?

Getting these too. Had one today.

Also fake courier delivery company ones over the last week or so (i forget who they were purporting to be). I don't know if its jsut a coincidence that I have bought from Amazon and had stuff delivered by that same courier very recently also but it seems odd.

I received one of these emails today on my work email. However, no attachment (work probably blocked it) and I was in bcc rather than main recipient. The two main recipients are people from work.
