Thought this might be of interest to people.

Basically if you try and buy say Captain America Winter Solider on blu ray or GTA5 on PS4 through Amazon direct (so not via marketplace) you can't anymore without being a Prime member (which is £80 a year)

I presume the range changes dependent to what's in demand or what's on offer etc...

What madness is this?!? Surely this isn't enough to make people go and buy Prime, but just shop elsewhere?

ps3ud0

Yep, love my Prime membership! I did have to kick off yesterday after I bought something, and before it had even left the warehouse the price had gone down.
Soon sorted that nonsense out and got the £2.12 difference back! :p

It's an utter ******* disgrace and I hope it loses them a shed load of sales and they are forced to back down.

Thankfully I haven't bought anything from the disgrace of a company for quite a while as there are plenty of better alternatives if you shop for specifics.

Amazon has just become as broken and corrupt as eBay and I just get the sense it's bubble is about to burst.

You are in the minority I'm sure. Amazon is fantastic, £80 is a small price to pay for the streaming service, family discount and next day delivery.

Best customer service i've experienced. Something doesn't turn up next day, no problem, no waiting to see if it comes, they send another one straight out (and more often than not throw in a free extra month of prime).

Amazon is a million times better (safer??) to use than ebay.

And now we have Primenow, which i'm yet to test but they deliver beer so probably will soon :D

Amazon compared to eBay? Lol

Buy from decent companies on there, you get decent stuff. Amazon is a portal, nothing more

Doesn't Prime still still give you free access to Amazon Video?

High street shops are doomed.

I don't see what's so great about prime when they deliver with Amazon Logistics in my area whether you do it through prime or just free delivery without prime, with no difference in delivery time.
