I'm currently using Amazon Music unlimited, but I'm getting frustrated and am thinking of switching to Spotify. The main reason for my annoyance at Amazon is that I quite like to just listen to random music. They've got various stations, but seems to always play the same tracks for the first 10-20 tracks, even if I haven't previously 'liked' those tracks. I want it to be far more random.
The reason I'm reluctant to leave is that I really like the Alexa integration. I've got an echo dot in the kitchen which I frequently use. I realise that you can setup your devices so that Spotify is the default music provider, but is the integration as slick? Do you have to follow up everything with "..On Spotify"? I already have to tell my dot to 'Play X on Kitchen' (Kitchen is my sonos speaker name), so if I have to say 'Play X on Spotify on Kitchen' it gets a bit of a mouthful.
Any thoughts on the above, or comments from people that have moved from one to the other?
