Amazon - order not delivered

Most of the time I find them to be good, but I've had the courier lie repeatedly that they tried to deliver when you can't mistake the buzzer we have and several people have been in. On a couple of occasions they swore an item was delivered, then say its lost, next day 2 turn up.

If amazon logistics is yodel, then I'm supprised anyone receives anything!
 
I've also had issues previously with non-delivery (especially by a delivery company beginning with a Y...) through Amazon.

Amazon have always come up great though, and offered full refund/replacement.
 
Myhermes is a complete joke. They once delivered my parcel to my neighbour and on the tracking it said delivered and signed using my surname. When my neighbour brought the parcel to me he said that he didn't have to sign for it and the courier just handed it to him.

From my experience and experience from friends I would personally avoid myhermes and yodel
 
Wow that was quick and excellent service! Literally just got off the phone with them now, replacement sorted for express 1 day delivery which hopefully should be with me tomorrow.

Never had to deal with amazon CS before but that was how CS should be done.

Ah another magic delivery farce by amazon and yodel I see had issues before with yodel and so has my neighbour terrible company :(
 
Yodel are abysmal. I sold a laptop via the MM and foolishly sent it via them, it never arrived yet the driver invented multiple different stories as to where he left it (at a house number that didn't exist, behind a car on the drive that wasn't there etc).
 
Problem is with Yodel and not Amazon. A quick call to Amazon and they are ready to sort with no questions asked. Good on them.
 
We must be lucky, not had a problem with any couriers in the past 5 years since moving house. Even the ones usually considered rather dodgy Yodel/Myhermes.
