Hey guys. Ordered something from Amazon on the 25th of October. They shipped it on the 27th and apparently it's been delivered today but i've had absolutely nothing even though i've been in over the last two days. The tracking says the following:

30 October 2014, 7:53 pm, ****** GB Delivered
30 October 2014, 6:09 pm, ****** GB Delivery was attempted today. We'll try again on the next delivery day. Please contact the carrier to arrange a new delivery day.
30 October 2014, 12:10 pm, Nottingham GB Undeliverable
30 October 2014, 7:50 am, Nottingham GB Out for delivery
29 October 2014, 4:17 pm, ****** GB Delivery was attempted today. We'll try again on the next delivery day.
29 October 2014, 8:09 am, Nottingham GB Out for delivery
29 October 2014, 5:05 am, Nottingham GB Parcel arrived at a carrier facility
27 October 2014, 9:32 pm, --- Parcel has been handed over to the carrier and is in transit

Will ask the neighbours but i'm 100% certain that it's not been delivered. Checking around on Amazon's site now and I can't find a contact form apart from the returns which states that if I don't send it back i'll have to pay for another one again.

Anyone here been in this situation before? Would really like some help/guidance.

Thanks.

Seems weird that they attempted delivery at 12.10 and 6.09 then claimed it was delivered 7.53.

What courier is this? I cant think of any that would try multiple times in one day.

Not sure how much help the forum will be mate.

If it's any consolation, I've had issues with Amazon in the past and they were brilliant at resolving it.

Phone the courier first, see what's up.

Absolute legend, thank you very much. Unfortunately the 'Call Us' option is greyed out. I'm assuming i'll have to sort it out tomorrow morning like you said.

No idea. It doesn't state the courier.

I sent them an email about never receiving a delivery last year. Got a reply that afternoon and they sent a new item on next day delivery.
The original never did turn up.

I had this last month.

Ordered from Amazon, gave it an extra day for the 'approximate delivery dates' and nothing. Emailed the seller and their tracking said it was delivered a month earlier, but not to me. They sent another one out that I eventually got but still no idea what happened to the original parcel.

The courier was Yodel.

This happened to me a few weeks ago, i bought a corsair RGB kb/mouse from a competitor as OcUK had none in stock. It was free delivery but never arrived in the first couple of days, i contacted the supplier who then said the parcel was showing as delivered, they gave me tracking information which i checked myself, delivered on 7th October apparently and 'left in porch'! (I live in a pub which is open from 6am till midnight, with no porch!) By the 9th October, i still didn't have it and had been in constant contact with the supplier and in turn they had been in contact with their courier who didn't know what was happening (Myhermes). Anyway, on 10th, i was literally on the phone to the supplier when in walks MyHermes with my parcel, after quizzing him, he had no idea why it was showing as delivered on 7th. I think maybe it has something to do with outsourcing. Give it another couple of days maybe.

Some delivery drivers are complete muppets. We got a knock on the door one day from an elderly gentleman clutching a package. He lived 1/4 mile away and had found said package with our address on it in his garden by his bins and had taken the trouble to find us himself and deliver it. It had been in his garden for days, no card through his door to say anything was outside. We've had plenty of stuff never arrive but claim to have been delivered. On one occasion a very expensive delivery went missing, a few days later a neighbour came round with it. They'd obviously signed for it and had been waiting for us to go knock on their door but the delivery driver had never bothered to leave us a card to say that's where it was.

Happened to me once many moons ago with a CD. They sent another CD with a penny taped to the inside of cardboard packaging as compensation. Did make me laugh.

Happened once with a cd. Status said delivered, phoned up and they said wait 24 hours then call again and they'll send another. It turned up the following day.

Quite regularly with Amazon tbh.. I've just waited 2 weeks for a specialist programming book i ordered which stated it was in stock ready to go.. but apparently it was't. My guess it's where they use Amazon affiliates rather from their own warehouse, i'm guessing.

Yep, they often use "Amazon courier" which is basically a man with a van and a hi-vis jacket

I've had an Amazon delivery recently where the courier had tried two times previously in the day but I'd not been in. The third time was after 8pm.
