Amazon Prime sucks massive donkey balls

Being working from home I've not cared to much about delays and delivery dates for most things and tended to tell them to combine delivery days where possible but when I have had things which have said they won't be delivered for an extended period then they have normally turned up pretty quickly anyway.

And yes they are still shipping anything ... I've had a lot of things which could be argued as being essential but also several which were not. The latter normally having a longer delivery estimate so I'm assuming that their system is just giving those a lower priority when it comes to sending them out for delivery.

I placed an order for few items and medical stuff turned up on time and fast, but an electrical shaver also from the same warehouse depot 2 weeks wait.

Bit odd given both items from the same depot, and they want to spend 2x the cost in manpower, delivery and time. Would have gladly waited for a 1 or 2 week option to group all items in one go reducing risk and saving money, time but then its amazon.

I've been ordering stuff as normal, when I place the order, I generally get a delivery date that's a few days longer than I'd expect but without exception, I've always had notification the following morning telling me that the item is out for delivery.

So Prime is still running next day for me.

Same, ordered a couple of things that were in stock on Tuesday (7th), stated 21st April. They arrived next day.

I bought a £130 Razer gaming keyboard which I needed to return with 14 days, just wasn’t exactly what I wanted. I selected the Hermes collection option for my return. After 3 no show collections Amazon gave me a refund and said keep the keyboard.

Can’t complain about that outcome.

I still find prime to be very good and quick. Even now.

This. Ordered some speakers yesterday which arrived today, although the seal was broken, I took them out and were clearly used before, but gave them a try anyway..no dice!

Went on Amazon website, and within 5 minutes I have a replacement set coming tomorrow, and until the end of May for return of the faulty / used ones, free drop off of course.

So cant really complain too much.

For such a huge company how crap is Amazon Prime TV?!

From the layout to the choice of TV shows / films it's just rubbish compared to Netflix.

See a film that looks interesting go to watch it,y have to pay. Don't understand why the prime films are mixed with films you have to pay for. Also seems like there are more straight to DVD rubbish films no one has ever watched compared to decent films that went to the cinema. Netflix blows it out the water....still worth the fee for the delivery service I guess but the TV side needs to improve.

They seem to have lost the list of similar items that people bought when you view a particular item. I used this a lot to view alteratives, maybe cheaper, maybe a better design. Now you just get a list of 'sponsored items'. That has damaged the shopping experience for me.

Ordered some speaker components, due for delivery on thursday and the rest on saturday :(

Doubt they will come sooner as they are "non essentials" unlike the masks etc..

My Star Wars Skywalker 4k box set (an Amazon Exclusive) was delivered yesterday.... hmmm non-essential?

I've had plenty of non essential bits with estimated delivery dates a week away turn up next day or within 2 days.

New keyboard ordered Thursday came Friday, few pairs of jeans ordered Friday came Saturday and Sunday.

On a side note, jeans will be going back, quite clearly fake levi 501's, a fair few reviews re-iterating the same point as well.

I read somewhere recently that they did this on purpose in order to discourage people from shopping and help with the covid situation.
