Amazon Prime sucks massive donkey balls

Uninstalled Amazon Music yesterday, if the shuffle thing wasnt annoying enough they then added a 'max skips' feature, so you cannot skip the song you didn't ask for or want to listen to. Terrible, just terrible.

Prime itself I have no major issue with but damn... their delivery service is shocking! Its gone downhill even further recently. 4 failed delivery attempts on 3 different items to Amazon pickup locations in the last 5 days. Absolute joke! Apparently they are going to re-attempt delivery tomorrow... I'm not holding my breathe! If its not here tomorrow order will be cancelled!
The only reason I use Amazon is for the convenience, its rapidly coming to the point where its no longer convenient. At this rate I've probably got more chance of winning the lottery than having something delivered successfully first time.

Had to cancel a few orders that had to be here today and promised today, but after paying showed a tomorrow delivery!

Paid a little more for the same item from the same ******* company and got it today.

Slightly falling apart imo

I think I order 1 or 2 things a month now, and that's because most of the things I want aren't on next day. Prime Video app is properly terrible and we don't use music. Cancellation coming up I think.

Maybe it’s because we’re in Greater London, but Prime doesn’t miss a beat here. Groceries in 1 hour and same day for other stuff. Not noticed any degradation in service at all.

I have not bothered with Prime for about 2 years. I found that even without Prime, I was getting most stuff the next day, even on Sundays. I think they are so set up for Prime it's more effort to "delay" those orders.

Obviously, this only works for stuff over £20 or just get multiple items to get the free postage. I never used the other services included anyway.

Seems complaining actually helps. After giving customer service both barrels yesterday, I was in no way rude to the agent, its not their fault! I just articulated my thoughts on the matter. They put a note on my order that the parcel must be delivered before 1200. My parcel was the first stop.

Not long ago I wanted to buy something from Amazon but every time I went to check out it wanted me to join Prime -In the end I got so annoyed I cancelled the order and my account.
Just looked at my online bank account and there was £8.99 for prime.
Straight back on Amazon and after page searching found cancell Prime and they will refund - My account hadn't been cancelled.

Yup. I do use Prime now. Delivery and Prime video are worth it for me but before I actually did choose to subscribe to Prime trying to buy something without being tricked or suckered into joining was a bit of a minefield. Had to be very careful to check I wasn't being auto enrolled into joining Prime whenever I made a purchase from Amazon.

This is the sort of **** I hate. Just trying to order something and it says order within 7h 18m for delivery by 1300 tomorrow.

Great, we have an Amazon locker at work and I'm on 1400-2200. Get to the checkout and there's no option for next day.

The phasing out of Amazon Drive is a bit of a pain even though you only got 5GB storage included with Prime, despite being better options out there and an increasing focus away from general file storage it could be quite handy sometimes.

I don't think it helped their additional paid plans were a bit odd combinations and stepping upwards in size and price wise with quite a jump between 100GB and 1TB in price.
