Amazon prime, yet again not here?

Anyone else get retarded choices on the delivery allocation with prime or is it just me? Examples for instance, order a £1.88 cd album for the wife gets delivered next day by DPD. £350 of pre-ordered 3DS games for the kids gets sent via Royal Mail 1st class tracked that takes a week to arrive - this seems to be a frequent, thing, with them for me at least - annoying because the only failed/missing deliveries I've had have been Royal Mail tracked...

Almost everything I've ordered has come with Amazon Logistics, I think I've had the odd 1 or 2 out of over 100 deliveries come with RM but even then they seem to turn up the next day.

Nothing comes by RM. Bulky items come by DPD and the rest from Amazon Logistics.

Is the prime TV worth it over Netflix? Thinking of subscribing.

Yes and no, it has a lot of stuff Netflix doesn't on UK, but does have on other territories.

There is some exclusivity with the likes of Vikings when the new seasons hit, a few other shows as well which I can't remember right now.

All good here although lot of the time I'm out so prefer the pick up option or just go for slower delivery and Kindle credit.

New for us London folk:

Prime members in residential Greater London addresses now receive unlimited Same-Day Delivery on a million eligible items. Simply look for the Prime Same-Day logo while shopping. Order by noon and get it by 10pm, seven days a week.

Will be interesting to see how Amazon Logistics cope with this. Next day has always been good here hope this new service is just as good.

actually.. over the last 30-40 orders with prime I have not had a single item turn up late, both to work address and home address, even sundays.

I use Amazon a lot, 4 or 5 times a week sometimes and have been a Prime customer for a long time and bar 1 missed delivery due to not finding my house, I have had no other problems.

I get 1 or 2 orders a year turn up,later, and we ordere a couple of hundred items a year. Each time we just called up and hot a few months service for free.

Much more common is you order 9pm and 9am the next morning the package is on our doorstep, blows my mind they can deliver within 12 hours overnight for free.

Couldnt live without amazon prime.

I've had 1 order later in nearly 2 years - not bad if you ask me. I use it for a lot of household items now that are cheaper there than the supermarkets (stuff like toothbrush heads, brita filters or cat food). Combine that with their excellent returns policy, I'm keeping prime (until they put the price up!)

I have had a few late.
just asked them and they resent.
Told me to keep original when it comes and gave me free month.

I love the service because they supply me phone parts, slight premium but I can offer a next day service to people where before it was 3days+

I have had delivery up till 9pm before. But they do state that's a possibility so I don't mind.

I order 15+ things a week...

Never had an issue with Prime. At home I'm covered by their same-day delivery service for no extra cost, and at work I can have Prime Now 1-hour delivery if I want. Fantastic service.

I frequently get stuff dropped off into an Amazon Locker and collect it on my way home from the station. Really convenient.

Remember to keep complaining at every late delivery. I have done, and I have gotten an extra month every time I have done so. Its been late a lot less recently!

We've tended to good service from Amazon Prime, but in the last three months had 2 or 3 occassions where the package hasn't arrived the day it was meant to (instead arriving 2-3 days later after we got a "delayed" email in the evening), and this week a package was left outside, the lights were on and there were three people downstairs.
