Amazon prime, yet again not here?

I'm also beginning to see a lot more items listed as 'Expedited Delivery for Prime members' rather than actual Prime next day delivery options. At the moment I don't think the annual cost is worth it for me anymore.

They always used to be great and nothing was ever late, but that was when they were using Royal Mail for most of my Prime deliveries, with the odd package coming by Yodel.

Then one day they switched everything to Amazon Logistics and everything was 2 to 3 days late from that point. They either couldn't find the large, well sign posted business centre I work in or would turn up well after business hours. It was different people each day and they didn't know what they were doing. One of them didn't even know he was working for Amazon, despite having a van full of their parcels.

Eventually it gradually started to get better and now Amazon Logistics don't seem too bad. I'd still rather have RM though. I suspect they are going to switch all their deliveries to Amazon Logistics but are probably just doing it one area at a time.

Sadly when I tried telling them Amazon Logistics are terrible, they didn't really at all.

Prime has got worse for me ever since they stopped using dpd in this area i complain but nothing gets done it just gets worse, especially with amazon logistics coming from Milton keynes. i use prime because i work odd shifts and need next day delivery

Meh for Top Gear, I can watch the real re-runs for ever on Netflix or Dave.

They use different delivery services depending on where you are it seems, they only just started using Amazon Logistics for me about a month ago, before then it was DPD or RM - and DPD was more for small items instead of larger stuff from my experiences of ordering.

I only had Prime for the trial, and only ordered three or four times during the trial, but each of those arrived on time. The delivery side of Prime seemed to work fine, but I wouldn't have used it enough to justify it. So I cancelled. And that was before they jacked up the price and included other stuff I have no interest in.

As someone who doesn't use prime its very rare i don't get my item the next day including Sundays using the free delivery option.

Is there anything anybody orders from Amazon that is that important it HAS to be there next day?

For stuff I actually need, I go elsewhere.

Occasionally when something breaks, it's also good get paid on a Friday, get home bit if shopping spread and delivered Saturday when I know I'm in.
Or for that matter order the evening before I know I'm going to be in the next day and it turns up.
It's also a complete bargain anyway with the extras. I would have it just for the streaming.

When its the main advertised selling point of a subscription based service, see their current TV advert with the limping dog as my point, you'd really expect it to be a priority for them to live up to the promise. Whether it is important that it has to be there next day or not is irrelevant, its what you expect from the service they are selling.

I agree that is what you reasonably should expect from them given they are advertising it.

What I am saying is, there is nothing that I really must have next day from them for it to be an issue.

Ill go into town if its that urgent.

had two late ones out of 35 orders , so good service last two orders have been late in the day around 7pm

Had my prime order delivered today at 12pm, ordered yesterday at 5.05pm, can't moan at that service.

Delivery guy sounded like he was trying to kick the door down too :p

Amazon always delivers for me within two days. Granted I live quite near the highlands so I can forgive the next day delivery taking two.
