Amazon prime, yet again not here?

If ever my items come late, ill complain on the customer chat.

Usually they extend my prime service. This has happened a couple times. They are usually very good.

Not about Prime but have to commend Amazon.

I received a package today, was suppose to be an xmas present, electric toothbrush and some replacement heads. In the package all I see is 4 DVD's lol.. contacted them in Live Chat and they are sending a replacement to be delivered by tomorrow.

Happy with this, but can't help think how many people would take advantage, or whether they actually check their stock etc to see if I was telling the truth.

Anyone else noticed they've started doing 'Prime' things with 'one day delivery' that won't actually come for ~3 days?

Ordered some stuff on Sat PM (around 12) thinking it'd be there for Sunday - due for delivery tomorrow... Was both on prime and in stock. Very odd. Been noticing it on a few items now too.

Yup, they show up under Prime delivery items but if you don't pay attention it'll say expedited for Prime members delivery, which isn't very different from a free super saver delivery imo.

Just had my first ever hiccup with prime (after 187 orders to date) the new amp I ordered ended up in scotland and I'm in cornwall :p

rang them up, new one out for delivery tomorrow 2 months free prime (didnt even ask for it!)

Still loving it

I'm on the Free Trial & they just send you a message apologising & saying it'll be there the next day, Fail !!!

Also Prime Video suxs, I've only found 3 things I wanted to watch but even those 3 shows I could find on Youtube.

I've already hit the cancel at end of Trial button. I am dissapoint.

Can't see what's not to like, things got even better for me the other day when someone on here mentioned the completely free unlimited s3 photo storage. currently got 1.3TB in there, win win

If you saw the state of chaos and disorganised farce at their many "fulfilment centres" (distribution depots) then you'd be surprised anything got delivered at all :p - especially at this time of year!

Sorry for mentioning a competitor, please delete if It shouldn't be here.

I'm not actually praising them here, anyone else every not have items follow the whole next day rule? I'd say a solid 60-70% of my items turn up late. Whats worse is most say they are "out for delivery" no they aren't. Just ****** off that I pay so much for a service yet not getting what I paid for.

Don't get me wrong its handy when things actually turn up. Just want piece of mind to know I'm not the only person.

PS its not my postal service as it happens at both my addresses.

So you get 's free month don't you for every late deliver? So with 60% of your orders I'd have thought you'd have reach the whole free year by now

Most they could offer me was £3 via online chat, for sending a returned item as new, bag was open and bits missing. 2 days off work to return and receive the new item. Had to badger for it too. Pft, if they put Prime's price up again, guess what I won't be bothering with.

Jinxed it, first late delivery today.

same here - have had hundreds of amazon orders over a few years and not had a late one... till now

If the place I work in is anything to go by, they're probably having unprecedented sales and are struggling to get everything out.

We've gone from shipping 100-150k DVD's daily this time last year to a staggering million units 1 day last week. It's not even that close to chrimbo yet. We don't normally see these kind of levels until black friday time.

I had a moan yesterday afternoon because one of my parcels that was going to be delivered wasn't shipped till yesterday afternoon so they extended my prime by a month and what do you know about 10 minutes after I got home around 6 it dropped through my door.

Obviously working OT at the Rugeley distribution center!
