Interesting just got an email telling me the unlimited storage option will be no longer, the currently unlimited pricing will only offer 1TB instead. I'm using around 300GB for storage and video cloud backups at the moment. Need to shop around and find something that plays nice with Syncback Pro

They dropped their tier system as well. I paid 16quid for 50gig to store videos and am amazon prime, so get unlimited photos. Now they've dropped it, they said buy the unlimited package for 55quid a year. But seeing I already get unlimited photos, that would be 55quid jut for videos, no thanks, gone to Google drive.

Guess also the prime unlimited photos will change too in time.

We use dropbox for Lightroom Sync, as long as wife doesn't open at same time it's pretty good, and even then you just get a conflicted dupe of catalog which is easy to fix. Dropbox is even intelligent enough to sync over LAN instead of pure interwebs

Google and Microsoft bought 1 account each and started storing info from customer drive/onedrive on amazon centres so google and microsoft didn't need to build new data centres :D

Yes hard to figure out whether it was abused, or whether it was a ploy to get people on board ... OneDrive is looking good at 59.99 for 1TB + Office or 79.99 for 5TB + Office. I will consider this once they introduce the files on demand feature back again - https://www.thurrott.com/windows/wi...s-insiders-can-now-test-onedrive-files-demand
Wonder how a Lightroom catalogue would work against a OneDrive filesystem in the cloud..

It *Should* be ok depending on how you have it set up, I'd be looking at one local copy, one local but off computer (Nas or similar) and 1 online for anything important.
