Amazon vs Google

So looks like Google have finally got a little tired of Amazon's petty games and are doing something about it but really question if this is the right way?
Thoughts people? From what I can see it's a lot easier to take Google's side here as Amazon have been acting like ****'s for a long time when it comes to this matter but Google are hardly angels..

Why don't Amazon just launch their own version of youtube with less restrictive monetisation

Or Amazon could stop stifling people's choices by not blocking Google devices on their marketplace and allowing Prime video to work on chromecast and Google would stop this whole thing.
Thinking Amazon are going to be heroes and save the world from YouTube with a more "humane" version is naive.

Well that didn't take long. Shame it takes such actions from Google for Amazon to behave but end result should benefit all.
