I bought Crucial SSD from them in the boxing day sales and it seems to have gone pop today. I now want to send it back to Amazon for a replacement but for the life of me can't find out how to do it... The return option just says I'm out of the return window and I can't see any other options.

Am I missing something obvious or are they really a massive pain to get replacements of broken goods?

If you go to your most recent orders, there should be an option from the drop down on the right to specify a return!

I click there and it says "This item is no longer eligible for return". Apparently they only allow a month for returns.

This is one thing I dislike about their returns system. It implies their obligations do not go beyond 30 days! I always end up emailing them detailing the problem and so far, touch wood, they have done the right thing. But they need to get rid of that hurdle.

True but from when they replaced my 18 month Asus motherboard and the replacement was delivered next working day, I'm not complaining about that small hurdle.

Last year I had a problem with some headphones I had purchased from them nearly a year previously. Despite my fears, returning them was no problem at all. And they even coped with the replacement they sent me being faulty!

No, a 480GB M500.

I've contacted crucial but would prefer to go through Amazon as (I assume) I won't have to pay postage to send it back... I'll get in contact through support tomorrow (or Monday), thanks.
