Amazon wish list spoilers option not working?

Hi there, this is rather annoying and maybe I'm late to the party on this issue, by default I have the option ticked called "Don't spoil my surprises" in my wish list management settings, but if I click on an item it says "someone may of bought this item for you" and it only says this on items that I have confirmed people have actually bought for me, but I'm sure it should only warn you if you add the item to your basket, not just by clicking on the item in the wish list?

If this is how it works is ridiculous because anyone can easily find out what was bought for them
