simple question do ambers use sse? as the few I've got here and at home don't seam to activate it - still do over 100ppd but not by much

If your crunching them - look in the logs following the initialisation of the new WU it should say something like

[05:40:54]
[05:40:54] Writing local files
[05:40:54] Extra SSE2 boost OK.
[05:40:55] Writing local files
[05:40:55] Completed 0 out of 100000 steps (0)
If the SSE2 line is not their it's not running (I think)
Check and post your results please.

I didn't start this thread as a low ppd grumble people 
But for reference:
the [email protected] at work get 120ppd per thread so 240ppd per core
(better than the 41 pointers)
