I was under the impression it had quite a bit effect on the temps. My room is always really hot as it's small and when I take my PC over a friends house it runs waaaay cooler.
I have two profiles on my H80i; one nice low-rpm profile for normal day-to-day usage, and one for gaming with fans set to performance level. I now have to use my performance level cooling just to keep idles sub-40 degrees.
summin up: it's hoofinly 'ot out there...unless you got AC in your house, chances are your pc is going to feel it too
4-5c here over my normal temps, on both the cpu and gpu's. Was playing a bit of crysis 3 last night and my top card hit 78c, bottom one 59c. Most other games lately theyve been maxing at 72 and 55c, cpu at 65c.
