Ok bear with me as im going to go through some steps, ive been here before but ive made a few little breakthrough's since then and i would like to share them and exchange views on the settings.
Ok back along i got a new pc for my nan's house, was a 1gb, sata raid config, am2 processor on a ASROCK ALIVE NF6G-DVI.
I v bought the pc for £400 with a 19" tft, was a 1.8ghz, 1gb ram pc but what a find

I will explain why in this post.
Basic Spec's:
Motherboard: Asrock AliveNF6G-DVI
Ram: 2 x 1GB Crucial 333mhz Ram
CPU: Amd Sempron 1.8ghz AM2
Graphics: On board

Nvidia nforce 6100
Hard drives: 2x 80gb Raid config + 1x 80gb IDE
Drives: DVD +- Rewriter
Okay so i started off as a complete newbie. Ok i tryed to read the post's and understand but i didn't evan know what FSB men't! So i learn;t a bit from you guy's and then tryed my first OC. Ok went well these where the settings:
Ram voltage 2.0v
CPU Voltage Limited to 1.3v (First bottleneck)
FSB Upped to 250ghz then upped a bit more
Ram timings where at 15, 5, 5, 5
I had got my 1.8ghz sempron to 2.26GHZ with nothing but stock and 1gb ram.
Anyway i dissapeared for a bit and this pc got left but recently i got kicked out so this is my main pc again. A minute ago i read about this board having a vcore mod so i decided it would be best to do that, thsi allows me to get a vcore voltage of 1.55v now adjustable (Better overclocking).
My simple question is now i have that extra vcore voltage to play arround with what should i do?
I was goign to put it a 1.4v and the fsb to 250mhz. Slaken off the ram timings to 15, 5, 5, 5 and put the ram voltage to 2.0ghz.
Then up the mhz until it becomes unstable, then back of the voltage until its stable?
Then set the cas latency of the ram.
Is this correct?
And would anyone recommend doing the memory Vdimm mod to get 3.2v tot he memory?
Cheers for any advice, ill look for the other thread to post this in lol.
