Iv'e overclocked my AMD Phenom II X6 1055T to 4.0GHz @ 1.47V and now running Prime95 at full.

The core tempature's is at 55C Max atm and I'm currently monitoring the water tempature on the onboard LCD display on the CoolIT Vantage which currently stands at around 40-42C.

But the CPU tempature which I'm gueesing the the temp diode underneath the CPU reads at about 65-68C and CPU cores at 55C for 13Minutes strees testing atm.

What should i be reading tempature wise? CPU Core's? or the onboard CPU temp diode on the socket?

Anyone??

And does anyone know how i can get past 4.0GHz? my computer won't boot past 4.0GHz and i think it might be the memory holding me back.

In my experience the temperature monitoring on Phenoms is rubbish, I went from air to water and the CPU temp didn't actually change, it did in core temp but that reading is really low anyway.

4ghz is about right for a 125w 1055t.
