Hydravision enhancements for Eyefinity configurations.

The HydraGrid feature found in HydraVision is now aware of user created Bezels.
The HydraGrid feature found in HydraVision now also includes as “Automatic Grid” option that aligns to the user defined Eyefinity display layout.

Resolved Issues for the Windows 7 Operating System
This section provides information on resolved known issues in this release of the AMD Catalyst 11.5 software suite for Windows 7. These include:

PowerDVD no longer randomly crashes when HDMI 8 Channel Audio is enabled.
Avivo settings are now correctly displayed in the AMD Vision Engine Control Center after connecting a secondary display.
Windows Media Player no longer randomly hangs or displays a black screen after playing VC1 (WMV) video files for over 4 hours.
PowerDVD no longer crashes intermittently after enabling / disabling Crossfire during BD playback.
Bioshock no longer displays visual corruption with Vsynch and MLAA enabled.
Transcoding MPEG-2 video to H.264 no longer causes an application crash.
Transcoding H.264 to AVCHD no longer generates lagging video.

Its only been 2 weeks since 11.4!

Seems very quick on the heels of 11.4 - or perhaps I was just late noticing it before.

The release notes even refer to an 11.5a hotfix for the 6600 fixes like on 11.4 - http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst115ahotfix.aspx

I don't have that.
I got the 11.4's from the official site and haven't tried any later driver versions.

Don't think i'll bother with 11.5's anyway.

Looking at the release notes, I dont think there are any performance increases over 11.4, only a few bug fixes.

P.S. Check your video settings if you reset to defaults. Amd seem to have increased the number of "enhancements" enabled by default.

Looking at the release notes for 11.5 seems it was brought out to fix issues with Brink and some 6600 issues.

Won't make any improvement to my card I shouldn't think but I used the AMD ECC to download it as it seems to be a newly integrated feature for downloading and installing.

There is an updater in CCC? Didn't realise this...
