Our goal is to ensure that every Catalyst release delivers a substantial benefit to our end users; as we have today with the release of the Catalyst 12.6a Beta. We will still continue with the Catalyst naming convention; Catalyst: Year.Month. You just won’t see a new driver every single month. Makes sense moving away from monthly releases. I felt a monthly target would make the dev team rush out fixes that then break other things. No more hotfixes.
 
oh boy! skyrim works with 7970 with absolute FLAWLESS visuals! BF3 feels more like 60fps when it's at 60fps now too lol

There should be a public announcement today, but I have been allowed to share this info right now:

- AMD will end monthly Catalyst driver releases starting with Catalyst 12.5 (which won't exist). They have decided to focus harder on quality and improvements vs regular updates which may not bring many new things. This way there will be no need for two separate driver development paths every month: one to get the official WHQL driver and another that keeps doing the regular driver development.
- We should expect more "hot fixes" and "preview drivers" when new games are released or urgent fixes are required.
- There is a beta driver we are testing right now that fixes the Eyefinity tearing on the third monitor when mixing outputs. I have verified that it works with Souther Islands based cards, so I don't know if it will work with previous cards. Anyway, if no major issues are found, this driver should be publicly available next week.

12.5 doesn't exist

example maybe there won't be any new driver till july. which would b 12.7 then maybe a beta 12.9 or something

we won't know anymore when their will release new drivers.

You think I can install theses over 12.4? I normally in CCC check for updates and then install that way, but theses not released yet because there beta.
Any benches yet with 12.4 vs 12.6?

Seems as if things are getting better ;)
 
Having problems getting these drivers to work with CCC, ended up doing a driver sweeper, installing 12.3 then 12.6 + caps, CCC won't open just give wait circle. I have eyefinity and crossfire 6970s so probably due to this. I did however put on BF3 and noticed a big difference, just seemed really really smooth, it was very noticeable.

Anyone have an suggestions on how to get CCC to install properly so I can try these drivers with BF3 eyefinity as I never play with 3 monitors due to a horrible lag feeling even when it high fps ?
