AMD 290X Prices

Has anyone noticed the prices of the 290X creeping up? Could it be because of impending shortage of AMD Fury/X?
 
*lifts rock and shouts*

3xx series is out tomorrow. 2xx probably havent been in production for months. Its only multi users who would by them now for crossfire.

yes as gibbo said about 2 months ago once the 300 series are released they will more than likely go up in price as the 300's are just rebrands with higher clocks.

He also stated at about 9pm last night to order a 290x now if you want one as prices are going up tommorow.
 
What about second hand prices? I have never had x-fire, sitting on the fence if I should go down that route.
