Heya ran the benchmark on this game soon as I got it.

No Crossfire : Avg FPS of 72
Crossfire : Avg FPS of 84.

Thats... Quite a sad jump lol, Anyone got anything to compare?

What driver you using? Make sure you have 14.9
In the benchmark thread a crossfire 290s is avg 100+ fps

Doesn't mean an awful lot without resolution. If you're running 4k and getting almost no increase that is one thing, if you're getting almost no increase at 1080p you would immediately jump to underpowered cpu in a game that is simply running very fast already. I don't know if the game is more cpu dependant or not, not played it or read anything on performance yet.

Some games will gain not an awful lot from xfire/sli. But xfire/sli is much more prone to poor scaling when you use an overpowered card for a lower resolution.

IE assuming your results are at 1080p, you might find that at 4k you might get 45fps with one card and 80fps in xfire.

CPU can't hold 120fps+ in games is nothing new...getting 84fps is not bad to be honest.

May be use enhance AA with SuperSampling through CCC to make use of the spare GPU grunt? :p

What is the rest of your system? What are your 295X2 settings?

I doubt the game has profile yet. Did you created a new one from the CCC?

Well I set the graphics to ultra with vysnc off and ran at 4k and got 60 fps.

I dropped it to 2k and got 63 fps ?!

Then i tried to play the game and all went to hell! Major stuttering and the like it was totally unplayable. As soon as I dropped the textures from ultra to high bam! I could play the game getting 40-60 fps according to fraps.

Thats using the 14.9 drivers and I ran my 295x2 at stock as well as oc and saw 1 fps difference.

Sounds to me 4GB vram isn't enough for that game at ultra texture. There's already a thread mentioning that Ultra texture for this game need something like 6GB/8GB:
