I'm writting here to the AMD reps.

Are you aware of the 2d (idle) flickering issue occuring when using multi-monitors including one on Display Port?

Here are examples on youtube of the issue.

The issue has been reported on your own community forums MANY times. This has been going since the Windows 10 driver and up, so all the drivers above 15.7. I have tried everything to make it work like it used to before. 15.6 is fine.

(AND I SKIP SOME)

Those are all the issue that cost me a lot of money and times accross all the years. This including the purchase of new monitors and more.

Do you not realize how the flickering issue has been going for 6 MONTHS, 6 FREAKIN MONTHS and you have like 10 threads open of the AMD forums. Do you not realize how much time people has spent trying to find a workaround or filling bug reports that you ignore.

Do you not realize that we are freakin tired of you

Do you not realize that you only have 18% market share and don't expect me to increase that number next generation.

I am very tired of AMD and them neglecting their customers. This is the last time I'm being neglected like this.

I think if we want them to fix the issue we might have to step back from "spitting in their face" but I do agree it's very annoying ;)

We don't deserve this, honestly, we spend a lot of money for our gaming hardware. Next time I'm green, it is my time to spit in their face.

I feel your pain. I ended up ditching both a 7950 and a 7970m after waiting, in some cases, for over a year for fixes that never came along... being in for 4x290X's though, ouch!

To be fair though, multi card and multi monitor setups are not always error free on either side of the fence... when you do come around to upgrading, you might be better off with a single 3440x1440 monitor and the biggest single card at the time, maybe two cards at most (depending on what happens with DX12 as it does seem hopeful that multicard will be better supported under DX12)

when we had issues with 2d clocks with the 5850/70's, the fix was effectively the same. AMD will probably get round to fixing it...maybe. Annoying, yes, but if you know the fix then can't you just set the 2d custom clock at bootup and forget it?
