AMD 3500+ to AMD 4200+ X2 S939 upgrade

I currently have the 3500+ and have updated my bios to run with X2 CPU's and various other updates in the bios. If I change the CPU from the 3500+ to the 4200+ X2 both S939 will it just plug in and work?

Kind of. You'd need to install the AMD driver if you're running XP, and change the ' computer ' driver in device manager to ' ACPI Multiprocessor PC '.
