AMD 3600 Upgrade

Well you'd probably get around £80 ish for the 3600 if you sold it, Current price for a 5600x is £170. Gaming only I would say no unless you plan on upgrading the GPU later. If you stream & game at the same time then a 5700x would make more sense for £200.

Alternatively if you can save up for a 5800X3D then it will be a bigger boost, but it is significantly more expensive. Even at 1440p there's a good boost with the minimum frames and will help makes thing smoother.

Is there any point in upgrading a Ryzen 3600? Not sure if it's an X model. Gaming at 1440p with a 3060Ti playing Rust, BF and CoD mainly. Thanks boi's.

The thing that you want to look out for is a CPU bottleneck, if you use the OSD on MSI Afterburner enable GPU utilisation, if its under 95% at any point then you have a CPU bottleneck, the lower the GPU utilisation percentage to higher the bottleneck.

The 3060Ti is a quick GPU, quick enough to outpace a 3600 at 1440P? I honestly don't know but a Ryzen 5600, X or not they are the same.... is a very much faster CPU, have a look for yourself, do that ^^^
