amd 4000 Vs opty 144 ???

what would be better in overclocking and in overal'ness ???? as im wanting it for a new system (i will be buying a better heatsink as well)
 
The san diego's 4000 are generally bad clockers and you would be better with a 3700 which are a lot cheaper and generally clock well.

New 4000s should be as good as 3700s, but probably no better. I'd save myself a few quid and pick up the 3700.
