AMD 4800+ different core temps

my brother in law has just installed core temp on his amd 4800+ stock pc and the cores are showing a constant difference in temps when idle and under load! core 1 is reading 24c and the 2nd is reading 35c when idle for example! what is causing this? as my intel cores read almost the same or are 1c out!

Uneven heasink or heatspreader can course this.

that had crossed my mind but with it being a factory built pc i had just ruled that out!

perfectly normal my AMD 6000+ runs 7c differance all the time

Yea same here, sometimes difference becomes even bigger so don't worry

My 4800+ shows core 0 is about 3deg warmer than core 1
