is an AMD 5500 any goof for gaming with a RX6800
there like £70 new and looking for a good budget CPU

Is there much gaming differance with a 5500 vs 5600?

So yer I didn’t see that the 5500 is a cut down cpu. Thanks for pointing that one

Apart from the 5600 that can be cooled super easy in an itx case with probably a noctua cooler. Do you think the 5700x3d could be kept under control?

Easily, they don't run that hot tbh and with an offset you're very unlikely to have any problems.

5700x3d is a very easy chip to cool. Depends on the specific noctua cooler but I can’t think of any of them off the top of my head that likely couldn’t cool one.

i picked up this case because you know £20... i know it can take a 240mm AIO but im wanting to avoid pump noise at idle as it will also be used for plex in the main room.
thinking of a cooler like this.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £109.93 (includes delivery: £0.00)
