Its just i'm a little wary increasing the Vcore if thats whats needed, Friend of mine broke his 6000+ X2 this week Increasing it.

well those processers arent as good as intel ones for overclocking, then again if your psu is cheap, then it might struggle supplying extra voltage. what psu is it ?

Thermaltake, No idea of the name but definatley not the toughpower version.

No idea of the price, since its almost a year old, But it wasnt the cheapest around.

drop HTT or LDT which ever name it uses on your board to 4x or 800mhz depending again on how your board lists it.

use a divider to keep your ram at 800mhz or 400mhz depending again on how your board lists it.

increase fsb by 5-10mhz and boot up into windows, run 5 minutes of prime95 or orthos, if it dont crash then go back to bios and increase another 5-10mhz and run prime or orthos again.

when it crashes or wont boot you then need to start increasing voltages in small increments and rinse and repeat.
