Post your overclocks please, JUST with a Amd 3000+
(Venice core if possible)

Just wondering thanks, as I will be overclocking mine soon and I'D LIKE to see what people has theres on. Also state your cooling if it is a stock or the name of the purchased one. Also the Core Voltage. E.g. 1.5V

A64 3000+ Winchester....0448 SPAW stepping
2700mhz at 1.536v with XP90 cooler and Papst 90mm fan.
Now replaced by D/Core Opty 170

Skt 754 Newcastle 3000+ running at 2450Mhz (10x245) at 1.71V

I think your overclocking will be limited by the mobo

Maybe I'm just lucky in this area. I bought 2 venice core 3000's in July last year from Overclockers.co.uk. 1 for a friend & one for me.

One would do 2.4 GHz on 1.55v.
The one I kept for myself does 2.75 GHz!

I can get 2.8GHz from it but it is not 100% stable (24hours prime stable)

I gather that the newer ones are rarely this good, although others might disagree.

Got my 3000+ wini to 2.45 1.65v/1.7v on air, kinda toasty.

my venice 3000+ atm is at 2.6Ghz with 1.5v (stock cooling)
thats on a gigabyte nforce 3 250Gb mobo

2700 with 1.63v

2600 with 1.44v

1.52 volts = 2.7ghz on arctic cooler freezer 64.

temps 36C idle 44C load.

can do up to 2.9ghz but not stable.

edit - its a venice core btw.
