kind regards smiley

its all down to what the temperatures are like, i have mine at 2.8 running at 100% stable at 35 idle and 42 load, but mine is a san-diego

Whats your RAM freq and timings..?

Use the BIOS, it is best for overclocking and you dont have to raise the voltage when overclocking. All cpu's are different some will overclock very well on stock volts where others will need a little voltage increase for a stable overclock and others may require a large voltage increase. it is also down to you aswell as in how far you want to go when overclocking and what you want out of your system. increasing the volts to your cpu will do your system no harm as long as you stay within the correct voltage parameters for your cpu and have a decent PSU.

If you want to start overclocking up the FSB in BIOS and read some overclocking guides.

should be able to get about 2.6/2.7 on stock volts on most 3700+ before you need to increase the voltages.

I have 2.75ghz @ stock volts with memory running 2,3,2,5 on a 333mhz divider.
