I just purchased an AMD 64 X2 Dual Core 4200 as an upgrade to my old 64 bit 3500. My Mobo is an MSI K8N, 2gig ram, etc etc

Is there anything i need to be aware of whe i install my cpu tonight?

By the way, i run Vista Premium 64 bit. My 3500 chip works fine so i assume the new one will too?

should be fine, just needs to ensure that both cores are being picked up. Motherboard (depending on age) may need a bios update

I think its in Vista built in. I'm doing a similar thing with XP and need to download the AMD optimizer prog and check Computer in device manager.
