hi,

just upgraded from the 5200 to the 6400, along with upgrading to the ati 2900pro (flashed to xt :) ) and a 750w power supply.

i installed the ati 2900, flashed it to xt speeds and ran this for a month or so, the 5200 standard clock 2.6 was running very happy at 2.8, maybe would have gone a little higher, but didnt want to go to crazy.

installed the 6400, and this is when the problems started, running at stock volts and standard clock, 2-3 times a day the computer would hard reset, the power supply is 100%, over the month i checked the voltages, 12v = 12.31, 5v = 5.13, 3.3v = 3.43 v, never lower. i tried a small overclock increased the fsb to 202 (cpu to 3.232) and the problem got worse. from what i have read the standard volts on this cpu are 1.35-1.4 volts? it seemed to me that it needed more. so put the voltages and everything on auto in the bios and tested. hasnt hard reset once. but when i check the cpu voltages it sits at 1.49, and under load 1.51v. anyone else found this ?? i have read many forums and reviews and guys are taking this chip to 3.4-3.6 at almost standard volts?? what clocks you guys getting with this chip and with what volts. my standard temps are 33`c idle and increase to 58`c under full load, i would love to get at least 3.3 out of this cpu :)

thanks for any advice in advance
