Hi,

I am upgrading my computer and i am unsure if i should get the AMD 6400 or the Intel E6750? Or do you recommend anyother CPU for around the simial price range?
Thanks

Depends. If you don't bother overclocking and if you have the cash then why not. If you are planning to overclock it in logical limits then i wouldn't bother getting the more expensive version.

If you do go for an E8200 cpu, grab a Gigabyte G33 board. I dont know why but that combo works so so well. 500fsb seems a breeze, 4Ghz combo for way less than £200 :)

Why dont you go for a Quad then? If you insist on a dual then get the newer ones yes, they are better... Same for the Quads if you can wait a few days for the newer ones to come out

You’re looking at 200quid for the slowest Yorkfield quad, the guy may not even make full use of it  Nearly 80 pounds more than the E8200.
