I've got an AMD 6870 series card which keeps crashing when I'm watching films on my TV over HDMI as a second screen. I've tried removing the drivers and reinstalling to no avail, so I'm beginning to think there's a problem with the card.
The card works fine when gaming on one screen and does not crash under normal desktop usage. EDIT - it looks like it knows I'm looking for its replacement, it's just crashed (grey screen, black vertical lines) while browsing the for sale section!
Anything else I can look into before I get rid?
Also, what is the NVIDIA equivalent to the 6870 series?
