As the release date of any new card draws closer, and the frequency of leaks increases, we get an increasingly clear picture of performance as leaked results tend to converge. The picture that's emerging is of performance that lies somewhere between the GTX570 and the GTX580. It would take something truly extraordinary to happen for this to change now, and any notion of massive improvements over the GTX580 are simply unrealistic.
General-purpose comments from salesmen, or predictions from forum members (with claims of inside information attached) can't stand against benchmarks from a retail-bought card.
