As title says, so I can start to get a handle on how far to push this thing, if you have the time please let me know your OC and rough volt / multi settings :-)

I have a 720BE and it is currently running at 3.6ghz everything stock volts etc. Basically i have only changed the multiplier to 18. I have tried 19 and upped the vcore to 1.5 however it wont even boot into windows at this speed. Im not going to try higher as 3.6ghz is fine for me. Not sure if i need to up other voltages as well maybe someone can offer more advice on this.

I am not clued up on AMD clocking just yet as i have just changed from having Intel. I just fancied a change before anyone asks :D

So far im very impressed with it for the money.

Im thinking of getting a 720BE do you think its pos to get around 3.4 -3.6ghz on what ever board i pick to use or dose the board make a big difference?

1.55volts is fine.

Make sure you tweak the NB, it makes a quite a difference to performance, try a combo of multiplier and HTT because multi alone isn't your best bet for hitting 4GHz.

3.6GHz on stock volts is still pretty cool. :D

Take a look on Xtremesystems for PII clocking tips. :)

The 'standard' operating range that AMD specs is 0.850-1.425V i.e conservative limits.

However people overclocking them are hitting 1.5-1.6v, admitadly some on water etc.

Just keep an eye on your temps, under 60'c is fine.

OK looks to me like I can get above 3.6 but its not stable.

3.6 with 1.48V is rock solid so I think I will be happy with that, that yield almost 22k on vantage...
