AMD 7850 Black Edition overclock HELP!

Hi. Ive never overclocked before so I need some help. I have a AMD 7850 BE currently running at 2.8GHz and I want to overclock it to run at 3GHz. How would i go about doing this? Would I need any programs? Any help would be great.

Just go into the bios(press Del key at bootup)
Then select MB Intelligent tweaker(M.I.T)
Then cpu multiplier to X15

and this is all I need to do to get 3GHz?

should be fine at that, if it becomes unstable increase the cpu volt a notch and make sure it isn't overheating

I would imagine you shouldn't need to raise Vcore at all for a 200MHz o/c, raising the multi should be all that is required.

But as mollymoo said, if things do become unstable raise the Vcore up one increment in the BIOS to get it stable again.

use something like Prime95 or LinX to test for stability.
