AMD 785G inconsistent hanging.

Reinstalled OS vista ultimate 64, windows 7 64bit LEGIT
System specs
Amd phenom II X4 955BE
4GIG Corsair 8500
WD green 500gb 32meg cache
Corsair 480w
ASUS M4A785D-M PRO

I have installed all drivers from asus disk and standalone drivers. I have installed vista 64bit twice and windows 7 three times. Same problem system hangs in browsere programs and general use.

I get hanging in all browsers IE8 FIREFOX and chrome.

When i open my computer it will be perfect then another time it will just hang for 10 to 20 seconds.

Any suggestions help would be fantastic..

Download mem-test to check your ram just in case you have a faulty stick.
Is your system is overclocked, if so try at stock, run Prime to check for stability.

Not overclocked its all brand new and at stock run memtest 100% no errors. Thanks in advance m8. Ill run prime overnight see what happens.

Ok machine has been on prime for well over 8hours no errors.
Still hanging, the hard drive led indicator goes solid, when the pc is frozen.

Im Starting to think this is a motherboard issue or hdd issue.

I have since changed the psu from a corsair 480w to a hx650 watt same problem. So the power supply is ruled out..

Latest update..
Ran HD tune to test and the hdd passed. With no errors,Must be the motherboard.
