AMD 7870 Overclock Potential?

Just bought a Sapphire 7870 GHZ Ed.
It has a core clock of 1000Mhz and 1200Mhz. I've heard the card has a good overclocking potential.
What guys do you reccomend the overclock to be (about 200Mhz on each?) i want to keep it on stock voltage.

Also, how much will this improve performance on games?

The only way to find out is to try it some cards will overclock better than others! Just up it 10MHz at a time on the core clock, give it a run in Heaven or Kombustor or your stress testing program of choice and then try another 10MHz.

If you don't know which program to use, try MSI Afterburner, or Sapphire Trixx seeing as you have a Sapphire card.
