hi i have just recently fitted a custom water loop to my 8120 and have been further overclocking it my question is that i have found out that max volts for my processor is 1.55v is that the total volts i can put through it period or as long as the cooling is adequate can i put more through it

Many thanks Adam

70/75 would be a safe place to be.

If 1.55 is listed by amd as the max safe, you can go over but cooling must be upto the job. Now you say your hitting 71c i assume thats at 1.55v or under so with that info taken into account i would NOT be going over the 1.55v

What waterblock, pump and rads do you have in your system. Is it just cpu or gpu's too

Thanks for the info I thought that it wouldn't do me any favours but my m8 sed it would. on load I am currently at 1.5v at 4.6ghz multiplier only and cpu temps at 55c socket is starting to hit 70s but that is with my case all on. My block is ek supremacy evo, res and pump ek d5 xres 140 and a 360 xspc rad
