Hello, im thinking on buying either a new motherboard or graphics card. I seen the Asus M4A785D-M Pro AMD which i will buy or any other at the same price that is better, or an ati 4890. atm i have an nvidia 9600gso but im not sure if the card is delivering lower fps or if it is the processor.

Rather than me spernding £150 on a 4890, it would be good if some one could let me know if the processor is bottlenecking the fps. i run games like tf2 l4d, css and thats about it so for the gaming i dont need a 4890.

to be honest i recommend a processor and a graphics upgrade, the processor wont really bottleneck the gso much, but any graphics card more powerful will be bottlenecked if you see my point. go for a 720 first and then beef up the graphics
