Hi, I think it's time i overlclocked this AMD 940 =). I see lots of people have mangaged to get to 3.5GHz on stock volts, but when i try this i have to increase the volts (not by much). Any ideas why this is?
Also i am looking to get around 3.7Ghz(ish) what would be the way to go about this upping the multi or lowering and upping refernece clock? My Ram is @ 1067 so i could eaisly lower the ratio and start it at 800mhz.

p2 940's are 3.4 on stock volts 3.6 on 1.4 and you should be able to get 3.8ish on 1.5 but thats were the heat really starts to creep in which is what starts to really affect overclocking on the p2's.

EDIT: also have a look at the threads in the signature of Dulk over on the ocforums... might give you some extra info that you could use
