How dare you accuse me of ignoring my children so I can refresh my emails every 3 seconds, then my DPD app, then my order page just in case. Cause I would never do that... /S
I avoid my junk folder since someone signed me up to a ton of "dating" mailing lists...
My top 6 junk e-mails are all women sending me message wanting to go on "dates"...
My favorite of the 6 is: "Your resilience in the face of challenges is incredibly sexy. Shall we conquer obstacles together and celebrate with some well-deserved passion?"
I'm happily married however.

I know the feeling. 3 kids, 2 of which are always at home. I would have to do it at like midnight when I'm shattered. Best time to handle expensive delicate electronics.

Exactly the scenario I'm trying to avoid. Not sure the wife will be pleased if I ask her to take the kids away this weekend just so I can do a new build!
I have a 1 and 3 year old and work full time, I have meticulously planned out the stripping, cleaning and selling of my current platform and the new build with the 9800x3d in several 1 - 3 hour chunks over 1 week during late evenings. Haven't gone as far as spreadsheet but each "phase" and on what day is written in a notepad

As a couple going through fertility issues I'd give up computers entirely if it meant I could be in your guy's position.
Maybe one day we'll get there, fingers crossed IVF next year. If that doesn't work first time, more rounds make 9800X3Ds and 4090s look like pocket change

Very similar boat for me and I was also a bit hesitant to use OCUK again after having a really really terrible experience with the 3080 launch

I had some friends that had IVF.
If I had to choose between a material computer and the love of my children it would be a no brainer... Bye kids. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. /S
(Seriously though. I would seel all my computer parts tomorrow if I had to choose)
