You either ordered a different CPU, or are pulling that time out of your bottom.

Yeah been about that long prolly. Looking forward to Gibbo sorting me out so I can be an AMD 9800X3D enjoyer. I missed wave 1 so hopefully get it later this week. My PC is currently sat on the floor fully built waiting for a CPU to drop in it. Currently rocking an i7 12700k, DDR4 build so looking forward to a new toy.Long time no speak, probably 10+ years lol! All good thanaks. Glad to see you are still around. I miss the arguments in the graphics section.
Performance isn’t terrible on it but gonna grab a 5090 when it releases so wanted a full rebuild. And now’s as good a time as any!

Just signed up to the forum as i too have been reading all the posts about when people ordered and if they have or have not received an email to whether their 9800x3d's have been dispacted
I ordered mine @ 14:03:25 on 7/11/24 and had a email @ 15:27 today informing me that DPD is expecting my Overclockers Parcel

I think everyone who had an email has the same. I assume dpd collect them all at the same time for shipping.
I ordered at the exact same time to the second. So you've given me a lot of hope

You never know with DPD though. I ordered a psu with nzxt, got that email saying they would have it soon and then a few hours later with no further updates it was at my local depot ready for delivery tomorrow.
Other times it's not updated till the next day saying they now have it, and it's tracked every step of the journey but taken far longer to get to me.
Still the most reliable courier though.
There was a time when only 100 posts was needed so you probably got it then and kept itI had the option and I'm well under that though.
Maybe they just love my witty banter.

Fairly sure I used it years ago for my case too, just never remember how long things take... Old age.

This will be my third yes, however in my defence there are mitigating circumstances. I tried to place at OcuK first, but there was no stock when I checked at around 13:56. There was an option to pre-order, so I did that. Due to my web browser selecting the wrong card initially I didn’t check out to 13:58. With no indication on wait times, I ordered from another big uk retailer. They somehow had some stock when I checked at just gone 2pm. By the time I’d checked out, stock was gone. No indication if I’d got lucky or would have to wait for stock. Then I checked the AMD Shop, which did have stock so placed an order there, confirmed. Then an hour or two later I got packaging confirmation from other retail and a dispatch notification. I didn’t get the order from AMd Shop till Monday this week as it came from Czech Republic. Now my OcuK pre-order has been dispatched, so that makes it three. I’ve since sold the second 9800x3D, at cost + shipping to @stooeh and he’ll get it tomorrow. I will then do the same with either one of my other two samples once I’ve tested them both.bit greedy dont you already have like 3 of them? think of all of these poor people who have to wait, you should feel bad

Amazing. I like the part when he moaned about everyone attacking him, after calling Gibbo a liar and crying that he didn't get his CPU first, (after ordering a day late apparently)
